Dear members,
As you probably have known already, we had to temporarily close our beloved coworking space, Connco Work Hub Coworking Space, yesterday. It was a hard decision to make, yet we still had to do it.
Over the past several months, Connco has experienced a financial shortfall due to the lack of coworking space members. We have explored any possible option to keep our coworking space operation running during this hard situation, especially to pass the second lockdown in Indonesia in the last couple of weeks until the unknown end date from our government.
For your information, a major share of Connco was owned by The Kirana Hotel Canggu (next to our building) that is also the building owner at Jl. Batu Bolong Number 91, Canggu, where we operated on the 2nd and 3rd floor. On very short notice, we got notified that The Kirana Hotel Canggu was no longer able to support Connco Work Hub Coworking Space operation on the building due to financial problems and a request to close the coworking space operation immediately, as soon as possible.
We tried to negotiate with the building owner to respect all of our membership contracts and find any possible option to keep our coworking space operation running. Unfortunately, negotiations were unsuccessful, and we found that we had to stop Connco Work Hub Coworking Space operation effective Augustus 1, 2021 (today).
All of us at Connco Work Hub Coworking Space are grateful for your supports that helps to keep our coworking space keeps operating especially during the coronavirus pandemic situation. But as you know, this couple of weeks is the hardest time for our business due to the second lock-down in Indonesia that impacted not only the coworking space operation but also The Kirana Hotel Canggu who supported our operation from the beginning.
We hope for your understanding related to this situation. Please let us know of anything we can help with.
With love,
Connco
