Every year our volunteers and community commit to a Plastic Free February. We know it’s been a rough ride recently so this year we are running it as an awareness raising activity and are asking our inspiring community to commit to make one change that reduces their plastic consumption

Think of the often shared comment ‘just one straw, said 2 million people’.
Small changes have huge impacts!

Setiap tahun sukarelawan dan komunitas kami berkomitmen pada Februari Bebas Plastik. Kami tahu ini perjalanan yang sulit baru-baru ini, jadi tahun ini kami menjalankannya sebagai aktivitas peningkatan kesadaran dan meminta komunitas kami yang menginspirasi untuk berkomitmen membuat satu perubahan yang mengurangi konsumsi plastik mereka

Their resolution is ‘less plastic straws for 2020’! - And we’ve given them bamboo straws to help with their mission 🌱 Did you know over 93.2 million plastic straws are used each day in Indonesia!? 😯( source: katadata.co.id )
In only the past twenty years, people have come to expect plastic straws in every drink, in an example of extreme waste being generated for minimal convenience...

You can think of your carbon footprint as a measure of your impact on the environment.. having a small carbon footprint is better than having a large one, and a good goal is to become what is known as carbon neutral.. there are lots of actionable steps you can take to save the planet from your carbon footprint.. here are some ways to reduce your carbon footprint..

1. Drive less bike more
2. Plant more trees less single use plastic
3. Eat more vegetables than meat
4. Save energy, switch to sustainable, clean energy.
