Orangutan River Boat Tour
Start / Finish: Pangkalan Bun Airport

Day 01 : Pangkalan bun – Kumai – Boat – Park
Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up and meet by our local staff and transfer to the small town of Kumai where you will board your boat, called a Kelotok, and meet your crew. The boat is a traditional Kelotok wooden river boat about 12m by 2m with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the Klotoks while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat. simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple western toilet and shower available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen. Overnight on wooden/Klotoks.

Day 02: Boat - Pasalat re-plantation camp - Camp Leakey Station
The Breakfast will be served while the boat slowly head up to pasalat re plantation camp,
see the process of replantation project.where you can planting one or two tree as you contribution to park. afterward continuing the trip to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest and also known as research canter for Orangutan. Soft trekking surrounding Camp Leakey. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. After feeding, back to the boat and relax in the lake while waiting the sun goes down and sometimes you may see birds and primates. At night time you might do night trek for 1 hour about.

Day 3: Boat - Pondok Tanggui Station – tanjung harapan Station.
The Breakfast will be served while the boat slowly head up to Pondok Tanggui. Arrived at Pondok Tangguy, the rehabilitation center for tthe new ex-captive orang utans, see feeding time at 09.00am. In the afternoon visit to the tanjung harapan rehabitation center and witness an other feeding time at 15:00. Afternoon back to the boat and cruise down the river. On the way back, you may see many kinds of wildlife in their natural habitats such as proboscis monkey, birds, macaques going back to their home sweet home. Dinner and overnight on the boat. Also possible to boating down the river to Mangrove nipah palm area for night spot with a million of fire flies.

Day 4: Boat – Village - Kumai – Airport
After Breakfast, you might stop at the village where you might walking around the village and the see the souvenir shop then beck to the boat and we will be leaving the park, village and especially the great creature of centre of Borneo - Indonesia, you just left and take a few nice memory and wonderful time with us. Start / Finish: Pangkalan Bun Airport
Day 01: Pangkalan Bun Airport - Kumai - Tanjung Harapan .
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, you will be met by our guide, short briefing and directly transfer to Kumai by taxi. Then we will a board a traditional wooden boat called Klotok up the seikonyer river .visit Tanjung harapan camp and walk to the feeding station expecting the orangutan comes to the feeding platform and the afternoon, cruising up and down the river to eyewitness the long nose monkey - Proboscis Monkey or birds going back to their home sweet home.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 02: Boat - Pondok Tangguy - Camp Leakey
After 7am breakfast, we cruise up the sekonyer river for an hour to Pondok tangguy, the second rehabilitation center for baby orphaned orang utan. Arrived at Pondok tangguy, walk to the forest for 45 minutes to feeding platform where the baby orang utan have an additional food. Enjoying the surrounding view, sometimes semi-wild comes to the feeding station, and perhaps seeing other borneo creatures. Back to the boat and cruise up for 2 hours to oldest camp in Tanjung puting national park, Camp Leakey. On arrival, explore the surrounding camp, visit informations center and perhaps to see the king of orangutan, his name Tom. Back to the boat for lunch, take a rest, sometimes often orangutan comes to the jetty expecting food. Afternoon at 14.30, back to the camp for seeing orangutan have an additional food. Afternoon back to the boat and cruise down the river. On the way back, you may see many kinds of wildlife in their natural habitats such as proboscis monkey, birds, macaques going back to their home sweet home.

Day 03: Boat – Kumai - Pangkalan Bun Airport
After Breakfast, we will be leaving the park, village and especially the great creature of centre of Borneo - Indonesia, you just left and take a few nice memory and wonderful time with us. Hoping you will be back again. Thank you for your participation by taking our tour.
