How can students and graduates have their qualifications recognised across borders?
๐น๐ฑ UNESCO, in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Culture (MESCC), convened a national consultation to support Timor-Lesteโs readiness to join the UNESCO Tokyo and Global Conventions on the Recognition of higher education qualifications.
Bringing together government institutions, higher education providers, quality assurance bodies, development partners, and international experts from the Republic of Korea and Greece, the workshop provided a platform to assess Timor-Lesteโs readiness, learn from international experiences, and identify priorities for improving its qualifications recognition system. ๐
๐ Supported by the government of the Republic of Korea, this initiative aims to expand student mobility, deepen academic cooperation, and contribute to workforce development across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
