🎨 And we're off !!!

Engage is excited to launch 'St.Art', a new initiative celebrating and revitalising public art in Longford Town.🌈

As former curators of the street art element of Cruthu Arts Festival, we're proud to build on the legacy created between 2014 and 2019.

Over the coming months, we'll be:

🖌️ Restoring the remaining murals from the Cruthu years.

🎨 Commissioning new public artworks by talented artists.

🚶 Creating a self-guided art trail of Longford's outdoor public art gallery.

Street art transforms spaces, tells stories, and brings colour and creativity into our everyday lives. We can't wait to breathe new life into existing works while adding exciting new pieces for the community to enjoy.

Follow along as we reveal artists, share behind-the-scenes updates, and celebrate the evolving story of public art in Longford.

Watch this space… St. Art has officially begun! 🎉

Here's one we made earlier.....

One thing we really miss from our days in Ardagh Heritage is the cross making workshops and the chats. Hopefully, the new committee will have it open for next year's Brigid's Day. Ardagh Moydow Reaching Out Ardagh News Scéalta Beo

Take a look at this video, 'brigid's cross creative ardagh'

We are located in St. Brigid's parish in Ardagh. Each year locals and others walk down to her holy well near the village. Connections to the saint locally go even further back. As a daughter of the Dagda, the pre-Christian Brigid is a sister of Midir. St. Brigid's Day/Imbolc is celebrated the start....

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Niall Martin of Nationwide. Niall came to visit us in Ardagh Heritage three times. He was so lovely to work with and put everyone at ease. Rest in peace, Niall. Condolences to your family in this sad time. This photo is from Niall's visit in July 2019 when we walked and talked on Brí Leith for Bilberry Sunday.
