Please share this post to encourage people to get involved……. 🎄🤶There’s lots happening behind the scenes as Let There Be Light – Ballina Christmas Festival plans for what promises to be a very special festive season in the town.🎅🎄

(Read the full story and plans for the coming months here : 👇https://www.northmayo.ie/ballina-comes-together-to-plan-for-a-bright-and-festive-christmas/)

Local businesses, members of the community, Ballina.ie & Ballina Chamber of Commerce and Mayo North Tourism, Ireland and local councillors came together this week to share ideas and talk about how we can work together to make Ballina a fantastic place to visit, shop and enjoy this Christmas.

🎅 Christmas Lights Switch-On | Sunday, 22 November with events throughout the town
🎁 Ballina Christmas Market is returning
🎃 Ballina Pumpkin Patch | 24–26 October
✨ Christmas lights expanding into more areas of the town
🛍️ Christmas window dressing competition for local businesses

And there are lots more plans to come!

This year’s Lights Switch-On is set to be something very special and a little different, building on the huge excitement of last year’s event with Garron Noone. We’re not giving everything away just yet… 👀

But we need Ballina to get behind it all.

More businesses, community groups, volunteers and local people are encouraged to get involved, share ideas, help spread the word and play their part in making the town shine.

We will continue to support the initiative by promoting Ballina and its festive programme to visitors from near and far.

📣 A date for the next meeting will be announced soon.

In the meantime, get involved, spread the word and tell us what you’d like to see happening in Ballina this Christmas.

It takes a village to make a town shine. ❤️
