The Ballycroy Visitor Centre will welcome the Music Circle with John and Isabela back on Wednesday September 9th for the Autumn/ Winter. Everyone is very welcome to join and you don’t need any experience just come along.

You are welcome to share a poem, a story, a song, or a dance. You are also very welcome to sit back and enjoy the experience as it unfolds. The Music Circle is a very welcoming space, sometimes people join with friends and very often people come along on their own. A big part of the Music Circle is community and connection, and sharing in the joy and friendship that emerges from the experience.

The dates for the Autumn / Winter Music Circle at Ballycroy Visitor Centre are;

Awakening is an ecology documentary that explores the unique boglands of the west of Ireland. Through stunning imagery and engaging environmental storytelling, the film highlights the ecological importance, rich biodiversity, and cultural significance of these remarkable landscapes.

The short film showcases the work and initiatives of the wider team at the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). It will serve as a valuable resource for National Park staff, helping to promote their conservation efforts and environmental initiatives to visitors at the centre.

The documentary was produced by Level 6 Film and Photography students from Mayo College FET

Heritage Week Walk

Join us this Heritage Week to explore this year’s theme
Heritage at Risk - our natural and built heritage throughout the park.

Sunday 23rd- 10:30am Guided Walk Letterkeen/Srahrevagh Cottages - join us for a 11km walk to visit some of the restored cottages of Wild Nephin National Park.
