With financial support from the Harold-Barry Trust, Bantry Tidy Towns has replaced the two back-to-back Birds of Bantry signs in the Slobs car park.
There is now a bright, modern look to the new signs which display the remarkably diverse range of birds in Bantry Bay.
Bantry Tidy Towns would like to thank Jim Wilson (ornithologist), Clare Heardman (National Parks & Wildlife Service), Designs & Signs, Eco Laser Solutions and Pat McSweeney Engineering for completing different aspects of the work.
A big shout-out too to Cork County Council for their help in taking down the original signs and previously the Béicín Walk signs.
The Council also did a good job in painting the barriers at the entrance and exit to the car park👏🏼👏🏼
