This poster highlights simple but essential habits:
✔️ Never swim alone
✔️ Supervise children at all times
✔️ Enter cold water slowly
✔️ Stay close to shore
✔️ Listen to lifeguards
✔️ Learn basic life support

Small actions make a big difference. Let’s keep our community safe in and around the water this summer.

🌊 Water Safety Matters — Every Day, Everywhere 🌊

As we head into the summer months, we’re reminding everyone to follow the Water Safety Code. A few simple steps can make all the difference when you’re around rivers, lakes, pools, or the coast.

🔹 Stop & Think – Take a moment to check your surroundings and look for hazards.
🔹 Stay Together – Always swim with friends or family, and choose lifeguarded venues.
🔹 In an Emergency – Call 999. Don’t enter the water to rescue.
🔹 Float – If you fall in, stay calm, float on your back, and shout for help.

Let’s enjoy the water safely and look out for one another. 💙
