❤️Happy Valentines Day❤️
The candles on the table shine,
With battery power, they’re divine.
No open flame to drift or flare,
Just artificial light we share.
Your phone is charging by the bed,
On a nightstand—not your pillow’s head.
A flat, hard surface keeps it cool,
Following the fire safety rule.
Up above, our silent friend,
On whom our very lives depend;
The smoke alarm stands guard and tall,
With fresh new batteries for us all.
Before we dream of stars above,
I’ll prove the depth of all my love:
I’ll close the doors to every room,
To keep back heat and smoky gloom.
And if the beep should start to ring,
We know exactly what to bring.
Our escape route is clear and wide,
To meet together, safe, outside.
So let the sparks of passion fly,
Beneath a safe and soot-free sky.
My heart is yours, the risk is low,
Because we’re "safety-conscious," don't you know?
