'The Geopark Captured on Canvas' art exhibition is being hosted in the Foust Gallery Ennistymon. 16th-27th October.

This summer seven local artists became ‘Artists in Residence’ at visitor centres across the Geopark creating new works while promoting and celebrating our landscape. Drop into the gallery to see what they have created.

The artists included Doreen Drennan, Éanna Byrt, Kaye Maahs, Mary Fahy, Patsy Ricks, Phillip Morrison, and Sara Foust. They visited Aillwee Cave, Burren Nature Sanctuary & Cafe, Caherconnell Stone Fort, The Burren Centre, Doolin Cave and Moher Cottage to promote the concept of geotourism and forge links between artists and tourism businesses.
