We need your help!

Is there anyone in the area looking for a meaningful woodwork project that the community will benefit from?

We are looking for a donated, custom-built replacement of a similar size to keep the books dry and the community reading.

This library has been incredibly popular during the past 8 years, but despite maintenance its now at its end of life with much of it rotten.

Without a new home for the books it will be out of action for the foreseeable future.

It's children's books and teddys week at the Callan Little Free Library, the library has been stocked with a selection of childrens books and when taking a book please also feel free take a free teddy. 🐻

Teddy's have been freshly washed and dried. 😊

The Blackstaff library is back open!
Brand new sign and fully stocked with both kids and adult books.

Blackstaff library painting is almost done, just need to add a new sign on the door, the sign below and a new inside light! 😊

The library in Bolton Woods has been removed.
We've taken this decision because hardly anyone visits it anymore since the Blackstaff library was opened. Also the wood was very badly rotten.

The Blackstaff library will be staying open as it still has plenty of visitors and has proved very popular 😁

The Blackstaff library is currently empty as it's getting a new coat of paint and the roof is being fixed, books should be back in a few days 😊

We don't normally post about businesses on this page, but we can't recommend Khan's Bookshop in Kilkenny enough! Great selection of books at reasonable prices and great customer service. What more could you ask for? 📚👍

We're fully stocked at the Blackstaff little library including a big selection of children's books. Why not stop by to pickup something before the weekend 📖📚🏃‍♂️
