Over the summer, lots of our youngest members completed a reading challenge. They had to read 8 books/comics/magazines over the summer.

To celebrate this amazing achievement, the Carrickmacross Library is hosting an award ceremony for all those who have returned their completed booklet.

If you haven't yet returned your booklet, there is still time.

The ceremony takes place on

Join us for a friendly, practical workshop designed to help participants build confidence using WhatsApp and everyday smartphone features.

The session will cover how to send text messages, take and share photos, record and send voice messages, create group chats, and use WhatsApp to stay connected with family, friends and community groups.

There will also be time for questions and support with any other basic smartphone features participants would find helpful.

What a fantastic evening we had yesterday at Carrickmacross Library. 🪁✨

The children had great fun at our Moomin-inspired kite making workshop, getting creative and designing their very own colourful kites to take home.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and to “Go Fly Your Kite” for facilitating such a fun and enjoyable workshop. 🌈
