Mayo North East's First Aid Responder (FAR) course is a comprehensive 3-day training designed to equip students with the skills to manage medical emergencies. In line with HSA requirements, this course enables participants to confidently provide life-saving care, manage injuries, and assist until emergency services arrive. It includes both theory and hands-on training, culminating in a certified qualification valid for two years.

Expansion of Croí Cónaithe Towns Fund Scheme March 2026.

The following grants are now available to vacant property owners:

• Vacant Above the Shop Grant (where the commercial element remains commercial).
• The Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant Conversion of Former Commercial/Public Use Building.
• Expert Advice Grant.

Thank you, Belcarra. Mayo Community Futures are delighted to be involved with the Belcarra Area Community Action Plan process.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Belcarra Community Day today. It was brilliant to see such great engagement, positivity and interest from across the community and across all age groups.
Thank you to all the local groups, volunteers and community members who helped make the day such a success. Your ideas, feedback and participation are so important in forming our five year action plan.
We will shortly receive a summary report from the day, along with a draft Community Futures Plan by the end of May.
A special thank you also to for attending and supporting the event.
