πŸ’œTHANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS πŸ’œ
What a fantastic day we had in Castletownbere for today’s Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ
A huge THANK YOU to every single volunteer who gave their time today at the food stop on the pier and helped welcome thousands of cyclists passing through our town. From early morning setup to keeping tea, sandwiches, snacks and smiles flowing all day long, we couldn’t have done it without you πŸ™Œ
Your help, energy and community spirit made the day a great success and showed the very best of Beara hospitality πŸ’œ
Thank you also to everyone who donated supplies, helped behind the scenes, supported the event, and to all the cyclists who visited Castletownbere today.
Events like this are only possible because of the incredible people in our community, and the support shown for local charities and organisations means so much πŸ‘
Feel free to tag yourselves and share your photos below πŸ“ΈπŸ‘‡

A big welcome to all cyclists taking part in today’s Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare πŸ’œ

🚴 110km Route

Cyclists will be travelling throughout the Beara Peninsula and passing through our communities during the day. We kindly ask everyone on the roads to please take extra care, slow down where needed, and be patient with participants and support vehicles. πŸ™

❀️ Castletownbere Day Care Centre
❀️ Cancer Connect
❀️ Beara West Resource Centre
❀️ The Caha Centre
❀️ Berehaven Red Cross
A huge thank you as well to all the volunteers helping today at the food stop and around the route β€” community spirit at its best πŸ‘
Best of luck to everyone taking part, and stay safe on the roads today! πŸš΄β˜€οΈ

πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ CALLING ALL LOCALS – WE NEED YOUR HELP! πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ
Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare is coming to Castletownbere on Saturday 23rd May, and this year we will once again host the MAIN FOOD STOP on the pier near Lynch's on the Pier .
Over 3,000 hungry cyclists will be passing through town throughout the day, and we need a few extra pairs of hands to help keep things running smoothly.
Even giving an hour or two between 9:30am – 2:00pm would make a huge difference. No experience needed - just a smile and a willingness to help out 😊
Volunteering is a great way to:
βœ” Meet people
βœ” Support your community
βœ” Be part of a fantastic local event
βœ” Help organisations that do amazing work locally
This event helps raise funds and awareness for local charities and community services including:
❀️ Castletownbere Day Care Centre
❀️ Cancer Connect
❀️ Beara West Resource Centre
❀️ The Caha Centre
❀️ Berehaven Red Cross
