New Beginnings Graduation, June 2026 ✨

Today we celebrated another incredible group of graduates from the Joshua Community New Beginnings Programme.

What a privilege it has been to walk alongside each of you as you embraced new challenges, discovered new strengths, and took steps towards a brighter future.

Graduation is a moment worth celebrating, not because the journey is over, but because it is proof of how far you have already come. Every lesson learned, every obstacle overcome, every decision to keep showing up has brought you to this point.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14:
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal..."
Today is a reminder that your past does not define your future. The courage you have shown, the growth you have experienced, and the determination you have demonstrated are all foundations for the chapter that lies ahead.

To our graduates, thank you for trusting the process, supporting one another, and allowing us to be part of your journey. We are incredibly proud of every one of you.

To our staff, trainers, volunteers, supporters, and partners, thank you for investing your time, encouragement, and belief into the lives of others. Your impact reaches far beyond what can be seen in a single graduation ceremony.

Congratulations, Class of June 2026. Today we celebrate your achievement, but even more than that, we celebrate the hope, potential, and purpose that lies ahead.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Sinead from the INTREO Navan for taking the time to visit our New Beginnings student group and deliver such an informative session on the Work Experience Placement Programme.

Sinead provided a clear and practical overview of how the programme supports individuals to take meaningful steps forward, offering valuable opportunities to gain hands-on work experience, access sector-specific training, and achieve accredited qualifications.

For many of our participants, this pathway represents a powerful stepping stone, building confidence, developing skills, and opening doors toward sustainable employment.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Citizens Information Centre Navan, and especially to Tom and Nicola, for delivering an informative and engaging session to our students on the New Beginnings Programme.

Their presentation, followed by a fantastic Q&A, gave real clarity and insight into key areas such as housing, medical supports and social welfare entitlements. For many in the group, this information is not only practical but empowering, helping to break down misconceptions and remove barriers that can often hold people back from progressing.

Participants came away with valuable resources, application guidance, and the reassurance of ongoing support, with the opportunity to attend their information clinics Monday to Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Joanne Kangley HR Management Company for delivering three powerful sessions as part of our New Beginnings Career Development Module.

Joanne brought such depth, honesty and encouragement to the group, creating a space where participants could reflect on themselves in a meaningful way. The sessions supported individuals to better understand their behaviours, communication styles and what drives them, and how these play a key role not only in gaining employment, but in sustaining it.

What stood out most was the message of hope woven throughout; that our past does not disqualify us, but can instead become the very fuel that drives us forward.

Participants left encouraged and equipped with simple but powerful truths to carry with them:
• Motivation follows action
• Small wins rebuild identity
• Consistency beats intensity

We are so grateful for your time, your heart and your investment into the lives of those we support. The impact of these sessions will continue far beyond the classroom.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Beatrix, SICAP Job Coach and Business Mentor with Meath Partnership for delivering such an engaging and impactful workshop on CV Building and Job Searching as part of our Career Development module in our New Beginnings Programme.

Beatrix brought a wealth of knowledge, practical guidance, and real encouragement to our participants. Her ability to break down the process of CV preparation and job searching made it accessible, relevant, and empowering for everyone in the room.

Workshops like this play a vital role in building confidence and supporting individuals as they take meaningful steps towards employment and new opportunities.
