Living Willow Dome comes into leaf.

Willow pollen is one of the first foods of the year for the bees.
Saileach, the Irish word for willow, comes from Sail, the name for the letter S in Ogham. Other names for willow as Gaeilge are 'Lúth Bech', (sustenance of bees), and 'Tosach Meala', (beginning of honey).

Courses to cater for garden/willow enthusiasts will be scheduled this Autumn. Hands-on creation of a living willow structure, lots of tips and information on planting and maintaining your own willow structure, and plenty of fresh air and fun. More details to follow.
