Dr. Michael Martin is continuing his travels this week, this time in the heart of Málaga, exploring one of the city's vibrant market districts. 🇪🇸

Standing outside the Mercado de Artesanías, Michael reflects on how markets have always been places where people gather, share stories, and experience the character of a place. Inside are food stalls, bars, local produce, and a lively atmosphere that draws visitors from around the world.

It reminded him of a familiar stop much closer to home. After our Cork City Ramble, visitors often make their way to Cork's famous English Market. While the products may differ, the sense of discovery, local culture, and community spirit is much the same.

While Michael is exploring abroad, our tours continue at home with our fantastic guiding team, sharing the stories, people, and places that make Cork and Cobh so special.

This week, Dr. Michael Martin is exploring a little further afield, walking through the remarkable mountains of Andalusia in Spain. 🇪🇸

One of the most unusual visitor experiences there is travelling between villages along dry riverbeds. During the summer months, when the rivers run dry, these natural pathways offer a unique route through a landscape of rolling hills, valleys, and mountain communities.

While Michael is discovering the stories and landscapes of southern Spain, the history of Cobh continues to be shared at home by our wonderful Titanic Trail guiding team.

For almost 30 years, Titanic Trail has been bringing the stories of Titanic, emigration, and Cork Harbour to life through authentic guided walking tours led by passionate local historians and guides.
