The Motte Stone

The Motte Stone The Motte Stone is white granite boulder which was deposited on the hill by a receding glacier at the end of the last Ice Age. Located at 52.886871,-6.208279

Legend says that the stone was the Hurling Ball of Finn MacCumhail (pronounced "MacCool").
