Malloween at Mallow Castle Cancelled

Cork County Council regrets to announce that the Malloween event at Mallow Castle, due to take place on Monday, 26 October 2026, has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions forecast for the area.

The decision has been made in the interests of public safety and following careful consideration of the weather warnings in place. Cork County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their understanding.

L6512 Fusia Hill at Gortnanoon has reopened to traffic - Carrigaline MD

Road Closure Notice

The L6512 at Fusia Hill, Gortnanoon, is currently closed due to trees that have fallen onto ESB wires.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Crews have been notified and the road will remain closed until it is safe to reopen.
