By In the cold depths of winter it can seem like a life time ago, but once upon a time there was the 2016 Cape Clear story telling festival. It was another successful year for it, though some stayed away for fear of the slightly variable weather forecasts. This is always a mistake. For those of us who enjoy watching the weather 12 months a year on Cape we know that the weather is never going to be that bad, and if it were there would be text alerts from the ferry service to let you know about it. By . Trialing the MGCool Action Cam, overall it seems happier with outdoor shots. Some are a little stretched, bleached, but for something small in your pocket and waterproof it's not bad to have out with you. Wondering how it will perform in less overcast light too.

By we're currently trying out the Action Camera made by MGCOOL, who make sports cameras, intelligent wearable devices, and other gadgets. Made in Shenzhen and posted out to us in Cape Clear for us to review it. Here are our first pictures, on a wet, overcast winter's day. So far it seems straight forward to use, and pictures are ok, but need to keep making sure the lens has no rain drops on it. Look forward to using it on a dry day too.
