The highly anticipated second annual Economic Forum outputs have been released.

MC Matt Cooper led a panel discussion last October, with key Cork business leaders Anne O’Leary, CEO, Vodafone Ireland; Leslie Buckley, Chairman, INM; Sean O’Driscoll, Chairman, Glen Dimplex plc.; and Eoin O’Driscoll, Forfás.

The afternoon session saw delegates break out into groups for four specific seminars focussing on Tourism, Food, Entrepreneurship, and Branding, the outcomes of which will be used to devise a detailed objective policy plan to be implemented.

Cork Rebel Week 2013 has been shortlisted for ‘The Gathering of the Year’ by Chambers Ireland. The week long festival, organised and promoted by Corporate.ie on behalf of Cork City and County Council's with support from The Gathering Ireland, has been the highlight of the Gathering calendar to date. The prestigious awards recognise the hard work that Local Authorities and Gathering committees around the country have undertaken to make The Gathering initiative such a success. Relive Cork Rebel Week 2013's Naval Review as it happened at http://bit.ly/195XUnl.

The event formed part of the International Naval Festival and took place on Friday, 18th October, in the Lower Cork Harbour with British, Russian, French and Belgian war ships taking part. This traditional gathering of ships which was observed by the Minister for Justice and Equality and Minister for Defence, Alan Shatter TD.
