Doneraile Estate Historic house, gardens & parkland estate in the town of Doneraile, Cork, Ireland. Doneraile Court and Park are open 7 days a week. closed Wednesday Thursday

The park is open 08:00-20:00 while the Court is open 10:00-17:00. Last entry and guided tour 16:00. Doneraile court built circa 1645 by the St Leger family in situ for over 300 years- Irish state owned since 1969- Open for guided tours from Friday to Tuesday 10am to 4pm.

What a wonderful afternoon at Amberley Home, Fermoy as part of Nursing Homes Ireland Week.

We had the pleasure of giving a talk to the residents about the natural beauty, history and heritage of Doneraile Estate and Annes Grove Gardens.

It was a lovely opportunity to share the stories of these very special local amenities while also hearing some wonderful memories and personal connections from the residents.

A huge thank you to everyone at Amberley Home for the very warm welcome, it was a truly enjoyable afternoon.

It was a pleasure to welcome the County Lord Mayor Bernard Moynihan to Doneraile Estate this week.

We are delighted to share this special video message, where the Mayor speaks about his visit and how impressed he was by one of Cork’s most treasured heritage sites.

We sincerely thank the County Lord Mayor for taking the time to visit and for his generous words of support. Visits like these help highlight the importance of preserving and celebrating this fantastic amenity which includes the wonderful 410 acre parkland and historic Doneraile Court.

If you haven’t visited we would love to welcome you!
From guided tours of the beautiful Doneraile Court, to the stunning Parklands with many walking trials, to the Pleasure Grounds, Walled Gardens and Sarah’s Tearooms in the Courtyard, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

As part of our Heritage Week programme, local resident and well known Historian, Michael O’Sullivan will present a talk entitled ‘Diplomacy and Botany: The Relationship Between Kew Gardens and Doneraile Court in the Nineteenth Century’ in the Ballroom at Doneraile Court on Sunday, 23 August, at 2.30pm.

The talk will explore the fascinating connections between diplomacy and botany in nineteenth-century London and North Cork, examining the relationship between Kew Gardens and Doneraile Court, the people, plants, and international networks that linked them.
