Homelessness in Cork is on the rise.

Many many more are at risk of homelessness as the cost of living crisis escalates

Today I Thomas Gould TD & Cllr. Mick Nugent - Sinn Féin Chorcaí met Dermot Kavanagh & Wayne Stanley of Cork Simon Community to discuss what is needed to prevent ppl becoming homeless & to support those who are homeless.

Cothrom an lae 1918 cailleadh Séamus Courtney, Briogáid Chorcaí, na Fianna Éireann. Chaith sé tréimhsí i ngéibheann, agus seal ar stailc ocrais a chruthaigh fadhbanna sláinte dó. Fuair sé bás go han-óg, ag aois 21.

On this day 1918, Séamus Courtney, Cork Brigade, Na Fianna Éireann passed away. He spent several periods in prison, as well as time on hunger strike which led to his death at the young age of 21.
