Corofin is going to be in the spotlight over the next couple of months. To begin with the National Tidy Towns Competition will be adjudicated some time during the month of June so we should all be doing our part to present Corofin in the best possible light by contributing in the best way possible.
In addition Corofin has been selected to represent Clare in the national Pride of Place competition (Category 700 to 1200 population). This is designed to highlight the level of community and general activity taking place and emphasising the co-operation between all local groups and businesses. Corofin has a huge level of community activity and has a great story to tell. Adjudication is expected to take place during the first two weeks of July. This is a great opportunity for Corofin to step up and requires the input of the whole community.
