Power out in places already due to . Always get calls about alarms beeping due to this and due to telephone line faults on monitored systems. Most of the time entering your code will stop the beeping. Back up batteries will run the systems in the short term. https://t.co/vAFn92howh

Back on site today finishing first fix for near Ring in . When we were here last, when we dug out for the foundation boxes we discovered that the pillars had no foundations😮. New box iron installed today to hang new gates off. No foundation, no problem🙂 https://t.co/CNePEhGygs

Just completed installation of C Tec 4 zone conventional system in a pre-school. The building is mixed use domestic/commercial so we used Eaton Askari compact sounders here. We think they blend in quite well with the Apollo smoke detectors. 🙂 https://t.co/Xgy76aLsMN

As we especially remember Mam today, we would like to thank everyone who took time to sympathise with us and also those who send condolences via Mass cards, text messages, e mails etc. Your support at the time and since is very much appreciated.

Mam always supported us in our efforts to grow and run a business and we feel that the values she instilled in us growing up contribute greatly both to the business we have and the to people we have become and we think it’s appropriate to acknowledge same today.

Thanks Mam and thanks again to everybody.

Ben & Gemma.

Hi everyone power has not been restored in alot of areas and the alarm panel batteries are now dying, causing your external and or internal bell box to ring. The keypad will not be responsive at this stage. Please contact us so we can advise you what to do next. 087 2205570

Evening all with hurricane Ophelia expected to affect us over the next day or two, there may be a few areas that are left without electricity for a while and this will have an impact on your security systems.
Please share so people know what to do. Thanks

ALARM SYSTEMS

If the electricity goes off, your back up battery will take over and your alarm may start to beep at you. Enter your Alarm code and this should stop the beeping. If the electricity comes back in a short while your battery will be charged back up by the alarm. If the electricity is out for a long period of time then your battery will go flat and your Alarm will need some attention. Older battery's and systems not serviced regularly will not run as long on battery as battery life would be very short. Contact us at any time over the next few days if you need assistance.

ELECTRIC GATES

Please ensure that you know the location of your manual release key for your electric gates. If the electricity goes off you will need to manually release the gates to get in and out past them. Turn off the electricity supply to the gates before attempting to manually release them. Yes I know the electricity supply is out but if it came back on and somebody else was trying to open the gate with a fob or Gsm unit then you could end up with hands or fingers caught in the gate. Be aware also that gates can exert sudden movement if caught in a gust of wind so be very careful when doing anything with them. If in doubt contact us and we can advise accordingly.
