Lourdes Pilgrimage online.
If you would like to join with the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes on line log in to www.lourdes-france.com and scroll to live events. We participate in the Torchlight procession on Sunday evening at 8.00pm. Our Grotto Mass is on Monday morning at 7.30am and we participate in the Eucharistic Procession on Monday at 4.00pm. Lourdes is 1 hour ahead hence these times.

5K Hill Walk In aid of MS Society Mid-West & Doon Community Centre Saturday 13th June @ 7:30pm Starting from Doon Community Centre. All welcome
Doon and District Mens Shed Monday, meet in the Shed at the Old Convent building at 8pm, followed by chat, cuppa, cards and archery. Two Pool tables available. Tuesday 7pm, Art in Shed. Wednesday 10am, woodwork in Shed, and 2:20pm, Music and Development, in Shed. Thursday 10am, walk around GAA pitch followed by cuppa in the Shed. Friday 8pm, Archery, cards and Pool. Our Lady Queen of Peace Praesidium Doon continues to seek new members.Meetings every Tuesday evening in the Pastoral centre from 6.30 to 7.30. All are welcome.
Cllr Noreen Stokes will be in the office at Doon Community Centre on the 1st Saturday every month from 11am-12, if you have any problems or questions.

Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, will hold its monthly Parent Support Evening on Wednesday 17th June 2026 at 7.30pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles.This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or how recent their death was. Doon Tidy Towns warmly welcomes judges for the National Pride of Place Awards on Tuesday, July 14th. To help showcase our village in its best light, all local groups and organisations are invited to a collaborative preparation meeting at the Pastoral Centre next Tuesday evening at 8pm. Loving God be with me now, as I prepare for my exams. Thank you for the many talents and gifts you have, given me and for the opportunity of education.Calm my nerves and anxiety, help me to remember all that I have studied, to express it clearly and to answer the questions the very best I can. Holy Spirit, sit with me in my exam and always. Amen.

Country Family Fun Day We’re excited to invite you and your family to Country Family Fun Day on 12th July, Doon Community Centre, from 2pm to 5pm. Join us for a fantastic afternoon, all in support of Light up Doon For Christmas 2026 .There’s something for everyone to enjoy, including a delicious BBQ, rodeo, fun games for all ages, lively line dancing, and prizes for the best dressed cowboy, cowgirl, and family. Music will be provided by DJ Dan, creating a great atmosphere for the day. Entry is just €5 per person. We hope to see you there!
