🎉🎉Charleville Mall's 2026 Summer Stars graduates took the library by storm on Thursday for a fun-filled Award Ceremony! Painting, colouring, singing, snacking, scavenger-hunting, and prize-winning, they really gave us a run for our money (shout out to library assistant extraordinaire Jess for all her hard work - the paint corner is not for the faint of heart).🎉🎉

Many thanks to all who attended, and best of luck with the new school year! We can't wait to help you find your next read.

"Look at the clotheslines
and see every clue!"

Future farmers and budding astronauts, up-and-coming artists and firefighters in training, the young attendees at Charleville Mall's last Summer Stars staff story-time session don't lack ambition and enthusiasm (even the story-teller is now considering a fresh start as a mail carrier).

Whatever we choose to be when we grow up, our glitzy clothes pegs brook no competition!

Missed today's story-time session? Charleville Mall will hold its own Summer Stars party & award ceremony this Thursday from 3pm! For those who finished multiple cards (and those who are really enjoying that first book), those who are in it for the goodies and those who've never even heard of Summer Stars - all are welcome!

Age guidance is 3+; all children must be accompanied by an adult.

What is a "public" library? Is the Gruffalo real, and if so, would he remember to return his loans by the due date? How do I find a book about sharks? Just how many Peppa Pig books do we have in Charleville Mall? It's been a day and we're still counting.

We were delighted to welcome the students and excellent teachers from Rutland NS yesterday morning for an exciting library tour & story-time session, followed by a scavenger hunt and some well-deserved drawing and colouring.

Bets of luck with the new school year!
