Thinking of everyone at The GAP and TIGH’N ALLUIS - Irish Sweat House 🔥 this morning after another serious fire broke out in Glencullen last night. Our thoughts are with the local teams and fire fighters. Hoping now to hear news that everyone is safe and that the damage has been kept to a minimum. ❤️

The Dublin Mountains have had a week of it.

The hills have been battling multiple wildfires, at the same time two of the Dublin Mountains' leading mountain biking centres were broken into just two and a half hours apart on Sunday night.

The GAP had several bikes stolen, while .ie was also targeted later that same night. Both businesses were left with significant damage in addition to the thefts.

Have you been affected by the recent fires or a theft in the area? Tell us your story.

The Dublin Mountains are more than just a place to visit. They're home to remarkable wildlife, vital habitats, local businesses, volunteers, clubs and communities that have endured an incredibly destructive few weeks.

Another fire in the Dublin Mountains 😔 Not the view we were expecting in Glenasmole today.

The beauty of Morse code is that the pauses carry just as much meaning as the sound. Maybe life works that way. Remember to take the pauses as you need them 💚
