Is cúrsa éigeantach é an oiliúint réamhchlárúcháin i bhfeighlíocht leanaí d’aon duine a bhfuil sé beartaithe acu clárú le Tusla le haghaidh seirbhís feighlíochta leanaí.

Is é aidhm an chláir oiliúna cabhrú leat an méid seo a leanas a dhéanamh:
• Na rialacháin nua maidir le feighlíocht leanaí a thuiscint.
• Na rialacháin a chur i bhfeidhm maidir le do chleachtas feighlíochta leanaí.
• Tuiscint a fháil ar phróiseas clárúcháin Tusla d’fheighlithe leanaí.
• Tuiscint a fháil ar na doiciméid a theastaíonn chun clárú le Tusla.
• Rochtain a fháil ar thacaíochtaí agus acmhainní.

Cuirfidh sé deis ar fáil freisin bualadh le feighlithe leanaí eile, feighlithe leanaí nua agus cinn atá ann cheana araon, rud a chuirfidh tacaíocht iontach piaraí ar fáil duit.

Nuair a bheidh an oiliúint críochnaithe agat, eiseofar teastas tinrimh duit agus níl aon oibleagáid ar aon duine a chríochnaíonn an oiliúint clárú le Tusla.

The Childminding pre-registration training is a mandatory course for anyone who intends to register with Tusla for a childminding service.

The aim of the training programme is to help you:
• Understand the new childminding regulations.
• Apply the regulations to your childminding practice.
• Understand the Tusla registration process for childminders.
• Understand the documentation required to register with Tusla.
• Access supports and resources.

It will also provide an opportunity to meet with other childminders both new and existing which will offer you great peer-to-peer support.

Once you have completed the training you will be issued with a certificate of attendance and there is absolutely no obligation on anyone who completes the training to register with Tusla.
