Social Welfare Christmas payments

Dear Customers

Welfare recipients who qualify for Christmas bonus will be paid same, ⁷along with usual weekly payment on the week beginning 1 December. Note there is no change to usual collection day.

Payments due to be paid on days 22nd,23rd,24th 25th or 26th December will receive this payment with their usual weekly payment on week beginning 15th December. Note there is no change to usual collection day..

If you are unsure if you qualify for Christmas bonus please contact your local Welfare office.

Note staff do not know or cannot assist you with your payment day / conditions, in every case contact your local welfare office. We cannot entertain queries relating to Welfare Payments .

As always to collect a Welfare payment in any post office you must have a valid social welfare card or token and or valid ID.

Dear Customers,

We had to close the office this morning due to a small group of Customers who got into a violent interaction resulting in damage to the office. We apologise for the inconvenience as it was completely out of our control.

I want to thank our hard working staff for reopening and carrying on with their job despite the unnecessary stress they endured.

We remind all patrons of Clondalkin Post Office that this vital service is here for you and for your benefit. Situations like this inconvenience everyone. We further note that any behaviour that results in a disturbance to Customers and especially staff will not be tolerated and will result in follow up with the Gardai and removal of service provision to those involved in all cases with no exceptions.

We operate a zero tolerance policy for the protection of all.

Unfortunately, from Thursday 27th February, An Post are increasing the price of a National letter stamp to €1.65 and an International letter stamp to €2.65. ✉️

Stamps with the letter “N” or “W” on them will automatically reflect these new prices so no additional postage will be required. However, stamps with a price on them will require additional postage which can be purchased at the post office.

If you or your business regularly post letters, why not beat the price increase and buy a supply of stamps before 27th February and save money! 💶
