Dublin Canvas - Colour in the County - Summer 2026 🎨

🗓️ Submission deadline - Wednesday 10th June 2026

Dublin Canvas is currently seeking artists to participate in this Summer’s project. This Year’s Callout will consist of 120 boxes spread out over County Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity to have your artwork displayed to the public in prime locations throughout the greater Dublin area.

Completed artwork will brighten up and turn these once dull, heavily tagged boxes into beautiful works of art, transforming County Dublin into a walking gallery of public art.

Artists and community groups who wish to participate should visit https://www.dublincanvas.com/paint-2026 for full details on how to apply.

Heading out on the water this June Bank Holiday?
Stay safe and look out for each other.

Even when the sun is shining, Irish waters are still cold and that can be dangerous. Cold water shock happens fast and without warning.

If you’re swimming or heading out on the water, take a moment to prepare and plan ahead. It could save your life.

👉 Swipe for simple, life-saving tips from the Irish Coast Guard, Water Safety Ireland and the RNLI.

Many thanks to all the local volunteers who attended our Thriving City for All flagship event in Artane-Beaumont Recreation Centre. A great night was had by everyone in attendance. 👏

The Thriving City for All Festival is being celebrated across Dublin City this week.

Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to showcase Dublin as a city where everyone feels welcome, represented, and able to thrive. This ambition is reflected in the incredible work carried out by local volunteers in clubs, community centres, groups, residents’ associations, and environmental groups across the area.

Your work is what makes our community great!

Celebrating Success on the Northside! ✨🎓

We’re delighted to share highlights from the Northside Partnership Challenger Programme Graduation 2026, held in DCU earlier this month—an inspiring evening filled with student achievements, powerful stories, and community pride.

From heartfelt student speeches to well-deserved awards (including a very special moment for Educational Excellence Award winner Ela Isik), the night showcased the incredible impact of the Challenger Programme.

Huge congratulations to all our students, families, and partners who made this journey so meaningful.
