Have you heard about an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA), or someone else has suggested you make one, but are unsure what it is or where to begin?

The Decision Support Service (DSS) will hold an information evening on Tuesday 8th September at the Castletroy Hotel, Limerick focusing on the practical steps required to make an EPA.

Following the information evening, you will have the opportunity to attend a one-to-one in-person appointment where you can start your application and work through the process with a staff member from the DSS.

This event is hosted by the Decision Support Service in partnership with HSE Mid-West and the Assisted Decision-Making Team at University Hospital Limerick.

Tomorrow is United Nations International Youth Day 2026 and this year’s theme is ‘Different Contexts, Common Aspirations’.

Young people in different countries increasingly face interconnected challenges related to mental wellbeing. One of the goals of International Youth Day is to encourage dialogue and collective responses to these challenges that are informed by the lived experiences of young people.

The Mental Health Commission is currently running a public consultation to inform the development of new National Standards for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, known as CAMHS.

If you are a young person in Ireland with experience in CAMHS, we want to hear from you.
