Join us on Saturday 16th May at 11am for a family friendly movie screening.🎬🎥🎞

This month’s film follows a misfit young teen who struggles to find his place in a tough, tradition-bound community. Everything changes when he forms an unexpected bond with the most unlikely of creatures leading the pair on an unforgettable adventure that challenges everything their world believes to be true.

All children must be supervised. Light snacks will be provided. 🍿

We are delighted that the Kilmainham Inchicore Heritage Group and Inchicore For All are hosting a talk here in Richmond Barracks as part of Culture Date with Dublin 8!

This talk will be a 'beginners' guide' to the history of Inchicore-Kilmainham and will be of interest to adults and young people new to the area who would like an introduction to its heritage.

Local Historian Francis Thackaberry will look at seven surviving structures that we see around us (a gateway, a bridge, a canal, a jail, a chapel, a military barracks and an engineering complex) to build a picture of our area’s rich history. He will also look at how newcomers to the area over the centuries have contributed to its prosperity and to its national significance.

Date: Saturday 9 May at 2.30pm
Admission: Free, but booking essential by email to:
