Alongside Dermot Mulligan (Carlow County Museum) and Dr Immo Warntjes (TCD), ambassador Florence Ensch was very pleased to reconnect with Dr. Michel Summer.

Michel recently returned to his Alma Mater Trinity College Dublin to present insights on the writing process of a PhD research and publication during a seminar organised by TCD’s History Department. 📜 🇱🇺 🇮🇪

Thanks to funding provided by (Luxembourg National Research Fund) Dr Summer’s research focused on Willibrord, a missionary who studied in Carlow before travelling to the continent where he founded a monastery in Echternach. Willibrord's legacy is honored every year on Whit Tuesday with a UNESCO recognized intangible heritage tradition, the Hopping Procession. 📖🔎
