TU Dublin’s innovation is going global! 🌍
Dylan, a 4th-year Computer Science student, is part of Anaphero — a student-led team tackling severe allergic reactions with technology. Their AI-powered wristband monitors vitals, detects early signs of anaphylaxis, and sends real-time alerts to caregivers 📲🩺
What started as a college project is now earning international recognition:
🏆 Finalists for the $1M HULT Prize (Mar 29, Dublin)
🏅 Representing TU Dublin, Ireland & Europe at the Huawei Seeds for the Future Global Finals in China 🇨🇳 (Apr 4)

We are thrilled to announce the renewal of our partnership with the Healthcare Pricing Office (HPO) for another five years! This collaboration supports the HIPE Clinical Coding Programme, which has trained 180 skilled clinical coders since 2014.

Why is this important?

✅ HIPE coders play a key role in disease classification, ensuring high-quality healthcare data is collected and used for research, planning, and healthcare improvements.

✅ This initiative supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, enhancing education, healthcare innovation, and infrastructure.

🚀 Dublin Gamecraft at TU Dublin: A Hub of Game Development & Creativity! 🎮

TU Dublin School of Computer Science, in collaboration with Dublin Gamecraft, hosted another fantastic game development event! Creative minds came together to build games using Godot, Pico8, Unity, and board game formats while experimenting with open-source tools like Blender, Audacity, and XR Toolkit.

🎮 Over 12 years of fostering gaming innovation!

🛠️ Hands-on game prototyping using top game dev tools.

🍕 Community spirit – with TU Dublin sponsoring lunch & gathering creatives in an inspiring setting.

🚀 TU Dublin Leads the Charge in ICT Research Commercialization!

Big news! TU Dublin is spearheading the new ARC Hub for ICT, a €32M initiative aimed at turning cutting-edge technology research into thriving startups. Over the next five years, this project—led by top TU Dublin researchers—will help drive innovation and entrepreneurship in Ireland’s tech sector. 🚀

Prof. Sarah Jane Delany – Lead researcher.

Dr. Robert Ross & Steven Davy – co-investigators.
