Any suggestions for charities/organisations who can come COLLECT our last furniture/toy/kitchen items which we will give away for free?

The end is drawing near, and I’m about to book a skip from Panda recycling 🐼 It seems rather fitting 😢
If you’d like to save any of these items from the skip I would accept any offers you make on these items shown. Collection is possible 10am-1pm this Friday or 10am-1pm next Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs. Please PM me if you’re interested in reserving an item as I’ll otherwise consider them first come first served for people coming to pick up.

Thank you so much for the overwhelming support we’ve received in the last 12 hours - so many messages from people looking to save a little piece of Panda to bring home! We only spent one day unpacking and photographing, we have several more to go, so whilst we have already listed a lot of toys, we still have lots of boxes of activity kits and equipment to upload. Please stay tuned to our page over the next week or two as we upload more things for sale. Xx

As many of you know so well, I have loved spending the last 9 years with you and your little ones in Panda Play Cafe. It is with a heavy heart, but immense gratitude, that I announce that we will not be re-opening the cafe. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every guest who has joined us and shared in the fun of Panda Play Cafe for the past 9 years. Every family who chose to celebrate a special birthday with us, every person big and small who sang along to our nursery rhymes, or danced with us at our discos or Royal Balls. Thank you all for your kindness, support and generosity, without which we would not have gotten this far.

I would like to thank my amazing team who have made this work so much more fun, I’ve been incredibly lucky being able to surround myself with such dedicated, talented people every day.

My daughter Alanna inspired me to create Panda Play Cafe, and I’m very proud to have made something completely new that inspired 15 further play cafes to open up across Dublin in the past 9 years. With the sad news that the club can no longer facilitate our business, I am going to take this opportunity to explore a new path. Panda was the first business I built myself, and thanks to the support from all of you, my friends and my family, it was an incredibly rewarding experience I will always treasure.

Anyone who has a play pass with visits still left on it I’m sorry you won’t have a chance to use it - please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us regarding a refund.

We obviously have a large stock of toys, furniture, party and kitchen supplies that we will be selling off in order to settle our remaining bills. We would love your support in helping us to avoid having to just put these things in a skip, so stay tuned to our page for more info on buying things in the next few weeks. Should anyone be interested in purchasing specific items please feel free to drop us an email.

In the meantime, we wish much success and longevity to our friends at The Playhouse Cafe, High 5 Play Cafe, Café O'Play, and Little Darlings Play Cafe

Hello everyone, thank you for your patience with us during this difficult time. I can't tell you how encouraging it has been receiving all your emails and messages, asking when we will be re-opening in Panda. Whilst it looks like we could open our doors again this coming Monday, I have to go with my gut, which says it's too early, and we need to be sure we can open our doors with a safe, and proper warm welcome. Current restrictions on social distancing, and limited numbers of guests means we also wouldn't make enough to break even, so it seems like it's both a safety and a financial decision to wait a while longer.

In the meantime, we will continue preparing the business for the new safety measures, and we will continue to shop local, and support all our wonderful local businesses. We're all in this together, and we can't wait to see you when the time is right!
