Rosa Christmas Lights are going live tonight 🎆(bar any last minute hitches!).

So how does it work?

1. Scan the QR code on the fence or visit the website (link in bio).

2. Choose a Christmas song (between 4.30 and 10pm) or a light sequence (10pm to midnight)

3. Watch the lights dance in sync with the music

4. If you enjoyed it, please consider a small donation to the Irish Cancer Society - you can scan the smaller QR code to bring you to our GoFundMe (link in bio). All donations go directly to the charity.

We've some great bangers this year, something for everyone from 676767 for the kids to classical to your favourite Christmas hits 🌲

While an 86 year old book is really impressive, please consider the age and quality of books before donating to Rosa Library. I love offering this service to the community, but bulk donations of unsuitable, old or damaged books mean I need to personally dispose of (or re-home) these regularly 😥

Well you've done it. You've (almost) cleared me out 💪 I'm delighted to say we're now accepting book donations and would appreciate any children's or adult books in good condition.

Helloooooo! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas 🎄. It's been a busy month here at Rosa with an exam, a wee holiday, Santa visiting - all the while trying to dodge COVID. The fun never stops!

Anyway I've a fab selection of books going out this evening. "Break The Mold" by Sinead Burke is one of my 9 year old's favourite, and Writers & Lovers by Lily King was one of my top 2021 reads (my number one was "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir, in case you're wondering 😉). A few David Walliams, Captain Underpants and Dork Diaries always making an appearance too.

Happy New Year, and hope 2022 is kind to you all.

Soooooo I found a large box of books in my attic from when we moved 🙈 and added to that a large doorstep-drop of kids books (thanks!), I am swamped. So please increase your reading speed, and drop around for some more perfect quality free books for yourself, your kids, grandkids, friends. I'll have to cease accepting donations for now until I can clear the "book"log (see what I did there 🤷)

P.S. I am collecting Christmas and holiday books for the 'chizlers', so if you Ho Ho Have any, we'd be delighted with them (yup, getting my coat 🧥🎅)

Juggled around some titles this (bizarrely mild) afternoon, great selection available now including Adam Kay's 'This is Going to Hurt', and 'I Found My Tribe' by Ruth Fitsmaurice- two must reads.
