Remember you need to leave a minimum of 1.8 m of clear width on the pavement (that’s nearly 6 ft) so people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids can move around without being blocked.

Headway has been awarded a Cork City Council Arts Office Artist and Community Award 2026 — a huge thanks to the work of our former colleague Carolyn. We've embarked on a 6-month creative project with artist and educator Dominic Fee, in collaboration with Cork Public Museum, Ballyphehane Community Centre, and Cork Printmakers.

Three weeks in and already full of creativity, connection & craic.
Huge thanks to our sponsors and everyone involved.

🏃‍♂️What a run, what a team! 🏃‍♀️
Massive congratulations to the incredible Headway Harriers who took on the Great Limerick Run with determination, heart, and plenty of team spirit! From the first stride to the finish line, this group showed what it truly means to run for a cause.

Together, they’ve already raised an amazing €3,300 (and counting!)
Every mile mattered. Every cheer counted. Every donation is making a real difference.

👏 Huge well done to each and every runner — you’ve done yourselves and your cause proud!
