Delighted to welcome Alan Horan to National Ambulance Service (NAS)!

Alan was one of the first APs in Ireland and now joins us in CCRS as a Consultant Anaesthetist jointly appointed with Cork University Hospital.

Today we said an ‘official’ goodbye to our National Ambulance Service (NAS) colleague Alan Daly, who has been part of the IPATS and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance Service - MICAS teams in Cherry Orchard for many years.

Alan has helped in the critical care transport of the sickest adults and children in Ireland. Alan has been a true friend and support to so many of us, as well as his patients.

Very best wishes for your retirement Alan, the photo says it all - “legend”!

Today we were very sad to say goodbye to Anne Keogh, who has been with us since the early days of the NTMP and our transition into NAS CCRS.

Anne has been a constant in times of change. A fountain of knowledge, wisdom, and kindness, Anne has looked after us all with huge efficiency and above all, friendship.

Anne leaves us for a new role in the National Ambulance Service (NAS) and we wish her all the best in her new role - she is a huge gain to the NAS.

Don’t be a stranger Anne! 🙏
