Right To Change

Right To Change We are a political network of community and trade union activists. We are independent of the political establishment. Community, Union and Political.

Join today: [email protected] The Right2Water Trade Unions began a consultation process in 2014 /15 about the types of policies the people of Ireland want implemented. They facilitated two major conferences and a submission process where 10 policy principles were identified. Water, Health, Housing, Jo

bs & Decent Work, Education, Democratic Reform, Debt Justice, Equality, a Sustainable Environment and National Resources. The Policies were debated, by the 3 pillars of Right2Water.. Following commitments given during the Right2Change launch period, by different poltical entities, the road ahead for the next General election was made and looked hopeful. As we now know this did not result in a Right2Change government. As time passed, Some of the voices for Right2Change called for a new step to be enacted, one towards a Poltical party with the purpose of taking the Right2Change Policies, developing them and working towards a goal of them seeing reality for all in society. So meetings occured in Thurles and Portlaoise with that purpose. It was decided that we form a community branch in Unite with this purpose in mind and it was named in hounour of those early voices in Thurles and before who looked to a very different Ireland to the one we have.. Tom Stokes

Following discussion the Party was registered in the Dail and has come into being. We are working towards our goal of developing the policies, Continously working towards with the view point of For the Many not the Few in all our focus. We welcome you to this page.. invite you to view RighttoChange.ie and should you wish, join us as a member, time to grow our party and demand the change we want for all in society.

We call on solidarity groups and unions on the island of Ireland and across Wales, Scotland and England to Descend on Tesco this Sunday 14th December in support of the worker who has been suspended for refusing to handle goods from so-called Israel.

On Sunday 14th December, we remember the actions of the Dunnes workers who refused apartheid South Africa produce in 1984 and were suspended for their actions.

Take action, tell Tesco to withdraw any disciplinary action and allow all their workers to exercise their conscience when it comes to handling goods funding genocide.

Please print out campaign leaflets to distribute at stores, bring your flags, banners and your solidarity.
