The Norma Smurfit Library in the National College of Ireland offers information services to staff and registered students of NCI. This includes having thousands of resources- including books, journals, articles, database subscriptions and daily newspapers. The library also offers IT facilities in the form of WiFi, PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners and assistive technology. Specialist subject a

reas include industrial relations, human resource management, finance, accounting, trade union studies and computing. The library also offers external membership for non NCI staff and students, available for a fee on an annual basis. A group meeting room is also available for group study and can be booked at the library services desk. Not to mention the staff- we’re here to help, so please don’t hesitate to ask if you need assistance!

The library will be closed on Saturday 30th May, Sunday 31st May and Monday 1st June for the June Bank Holiday. The fourth floor will be closed for a staff event on Friday 29th May, but the fifth floor will remain open as normal. We will return to our normal opening hours from Tuesday 2nd June.
