What an incredible day we had yesterday at the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon! This year marked the 44th running of this fantastic event, and it was a truly memorable occasion.

Members of Order Malta Ireland volunteered throughout the day, providing care and support to participants. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave up part of their weekend to help make the event such a success. It was wonderful to have units from across Ireland represented, and your support, dedication, and commitment were truly appreciated. Thank you all for playing such an important role in making the day such a memorable one.

Congratulations and well done to everyone who took part in the Mini Marathon. 🏃‍♀️🎉

Finally, we were delighted to celebrate Dundrum Cadet Jack’s 11th birthday with him🎂

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Dundrum unit! We had members attend the Annual Pilgrimage to Lourdes. We’ve been providing cover at the 3Arena for several concerts.

We were also on site at the Ballinteer St John’s U11 Blitz and the Drivalia Sandyford 5K. Over the past 2 weeks, we supported multiple patient transfer requests.

We’re finishing the week at Leopardstown Racecourse ☀️

As always, a huge thank you to our members who consistently volunteer their time to support their community and regional duties.

The unit would like to extend our prayers and deepest sympathies to family & friends on the passing of Niamh, a member of the Order of Malta - Blanchardstown Unit

It is with deep regret and sadness to inform you of the sudden passing of Vol. Niamh Johnston.

Niamh was a dedicated EMT in the Blanchardstown unit who was always eager to learn. She was a kind and friendly person who loved to have a laugh. She will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts are with her family in this difficult time.

RIP Niamh.

What a brilliant weekend the Cadets had with Order of Malta Ireland Ambulance Corps - Cabra and the Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Crumlin at the Cavan Centre!

It was a jam-packed weekend with blue skies ☀️
Our cadets took part in so many activities, including kayaking, high ropes, a leap of faith, a scavenger hunt, and music bingo. Honourable mention to Cpl Cadet Callum for winning best dressed costume! 👏 We ended the weekend on a high, with some marshmallows roasted over the fire. Shout out to the Cavan Centre staff for taking such good care of us all.

A special thanks to Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership for supporting us with transport. In addition, a big thank you to the senior members of Dundrum Unit. Their continued dedication ensures we can keep our Cadet programme running 🚑

This weekend, we saw members of the Dundrum Unit begin the FAR course! It was a brilliant weekend filled with learning and practical skill work.
There were lots of great questions, plenty of hands-on practice, and valuable time spent together.
We’re so excited to see our members complete the course and sail through their exams! 🚑

As always, thanks so much to our members for their continued dedication and for giving up their time to volunteer and to learn. Their commitment makes a real difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do. 👏
