DU Pirate Party

DU Pirate Party Trinity College Dublin's very own Pirate Party! The DU Pirate Party was formed in the likeness of the Swedish Pirate Party, Pirat Partiet. tl;dr we like rum.

In abstract we endeavor to protect and expand our civil liberties, in reaction to the surveillance state mentality that is currently growing in Ireland and abroad. But also in support of the inherent good of liberal ideals. Ideals such as the right to privacy, free speech, etc. These are rights which are being threatened in Ireland. It is our goal to raise awareness of such issues, educate people

about their rights, lobby for change, and get people involved and active. It is only by raising our voices in dissent that government can be made aware of the desire for change.
