Many thanks to SDCC crew at Waterstown Park who repaired the broken basket swing Palmerstown Playground.

Update from SDCC
Ground preparation works are commencing this week on a mini woodland project in the southwest corner of Waterstown Park behind Riversdale Grove. The initial phase involves the placement of carboard and a layer of wood chip over the area identified for tree planting. The material will break down over time and create a rich medium for the trees. Native tree planting will follow in the autumn.

In addition to the above, the new bridge for the Mill race will be arriving in the park today. The bridge will be assembled on site this week prior to it being lifted into its final position.

If anyone is in the park could you send photos of the bridge please!?
