ÓSF is a movement for young people, led by young political activists. Our role is to campaign, educate and to build a project that creates a political space for progressive young people. The five ideas around which our political campaigning is based are republicanism, socialism, feminism, internationalism, environmentalism. We are the youth wing of Sinn Féin, free to set an independent agenda and develop a distinct style of politics.

From Dublin ÓSF: Introducing Flógra - Ending Period Poverty

Flógra is our campaign to tackle period poverty. Period products are a basic necessity, yet for many people they are still an expense that can be difficult to afford. Nobody should have to choose between buying period products and putting food on the table, and nobody should have to miss school, work or other parts of everyday life because they can’t afford them.

Through Flógra, we’re raising money to buy period products, while also working with local pharmacies, shops and businesses to collect donations. We’ll be bringing the products we collect directly to Liberty Soup Kitchen, where they can reach people who need them.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us put essential period products into the hands of people who need them. You can donate to our campaign via our GoFundMe
