Whether it's a child's first swimming lesson, someone starting their fitness journey, or an older adult staying active, we believe everyone should feel welcome, supported and included.

Accessibility and inclusion are at the heart of what we do, because health and wellbeing should be available to everyone.

Regular exercise can help improve sleep quality, while a good night's sleep can support recovery, energy levels and your next workout.

Whether you're training in the gym, taking a fitness class or enjoying a swim, looking after your sleep is an important part of your wellbeing routine.

Take care of your training and your sleep! Caring for one supports the other.

Yesterday, 16 Swan Leisure team members from across all departments, including management, swim and pool instructors, reception, and hygiene staff, took part in our annual Autism Awareness Training facilitated by .

This training helps us build greater understanding, awareness, and confidence in supporting autistic individuals and their families, ensuring Swan Leisure remains an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.

A big thank you to for delivering another valuable and insightful session and for helping us continue to learn and grow.

We are proud to work in partnership with AsIAm, Ireland's Autism Charity, to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for Autistic people and anyone with sensory sensitivities.

Our weekly Autism-Friendly Hours take place at:

📍 Crumlin – Thursdays, 5:00 pm–6:00 pm
📍 Rathmines – Fridays, 5:15 pm–6:15 pm

During these sessions, lights are dimmed, music is turned off, hair and hand dryers are switched off, and announcements are kept to a minimum to create a calmer environment.

Sensory Maps are available for both centres, and Social Stories can be provided on request. For support before your visit, please contact our Disability Liaison Officer at [email protected].

Together, we're creating spaces where everyone feels comfortable, supported and included.

Returning weights, using a towel, wearing fresh gym gear and keeping belongings stored away are simple habits that help create a cleaner, safer and more comfortable environment for everyone.

Join our 8-week Women's Strength Training Programme led by experienced coach Borja.

With two training times available and just 4 participants per group, you'll receive plenty of guidance and support throughout the programme.

What you eat before and after training can make a difference to how you feel and perform. 💪

Before your workout, choose a light snack that provides energy without weighing you down.

After your session, rehydrate and include both protein and carbohydrates in a meal or snack to support recovery and help your body refuel. 🥤🍎
