Dublin City Childcare Committee DCCC is one of 30 Childcare Committees operating nationally. We offer a range of training to enhance the delivery of quality childcare.

Our social mission is to achieve high quality Early Years services by connecting with Early Years services and families, by offering a range of tailored support programmes and services. DCCC is the first point of contact for anyone seeking advice, information or support in relation to early childhood care within Dublin City. If you are working in Early Learning and Care, we provide information on

government childcare subsidies, sustainability, the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM), governance, inspections and regulations, child protection and Garda vetting. We can help if you are setting up your own childcare service. The team at Dublin City Childcare Committee are available as a source of support, information and advice. Please feel free to contact us with your queries. We welcome calls from parents. If you are a parent and looking for childcare, we can explain government-funded support programmes such as NCS and ECCE. Minister Foley announces increased childcare subsidies for 47,000 children today

The Department of Children, Disability and Equality (DCDE) is inviting childminders and parents to share their experiences and perspectives on the implementation of the new childminding regulations.

Feedback gathered through these focus groups will help inform the ongoing review of the regulations and shape future developments in the childminding sector. This is an opportunity to discuss how the regulations are working in practice, the supports available to childminders, any challenges or barriers to registration and compliance, and suggestions for how the system could be improved to better meet the needs of childminders, children and families.
