The Irish Coast Guard is one of Ireland’s four blue-light emergency services, working alongside An Garda Síochána, the National Ambulance Service and the Fire Services.

Each year, our staff and volunteers respond to thousands of incidents, often in challenging and rapidly evolving conditions.

From our 24/7 Rescue Coordination Centres in Dublin, Malin and Valentia to frontline operations across the country, as Director Michael O’Toole outlines in this video, the scale, complexity and importance of the work carried out every day is significant in protecting life and supporting communities along our coast and beyond.

When it matters, we are there.
