Following concerns raised with me by our local area rep. Shashank, about the condition of the footpath and cycle track along Hollywood Road, I requested that Fingal County Council inspect and repair the area.

I’m pleased to confirm that remedial works have now been carried out, with the uneven surfaces and trip hazards along the route smoothed and resurfaced to make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists.

If you have any similar issues with footpaths, lighting or road safety in your neighbourhood, please get in touch with us so we can follow them up with the council.

Delighted to be out this afternoon handing out Easter Lilies to our wonderful local community with Tina and Shashank. The Easter Lily is a proud symbol of remembrance and respect for all those who gave their lives for Irish freedom.

I encourage everyone to wear your lily this Easter to honour that legacy and to join us for the local commemoration taking place on Easter Monday at 4 pm at the 1916 Monument in Mulhuddart Village. It’s an important moment for reflection and community togetherness.

Looking forward to seeing familiar faces there and celebrating our shared history and spirit. 🇮🇪💚
